Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what is his policy with regard to persuading newspaper editors to give employment to former staff of the Foreign Office who have been dismissed for misdemeanors; and on how many occasions his Department have taken this action since 1st June 1952.
§ Mr. MulleyIt is no part of my right hon. Friend's policy to make such recommendations. I know of no case in which this has been done.
