§ Mr. HattersleyAt present 380 staff deal with claims for Selective Employment Tax refund and premium payments. Only a marginal reduction of staff will result from the change referred to in the second part of the question. The firms concerned will claim refunds instead of premiums and the total number of claims dealt with will be unchanged.
