§ Mr. Merlyn ReesSome 300 pilots, just over two thirds of whom are officers and almost all of whom are volunteers116W are expected to become redundant in the period from publication of the Supplementary Statement on Defence Policy, 1967 up to the end of 1968. This is rather more than half the total number expected to become redundant in the whole period from July, 1967 to April, 1971.
