HC Deb 28 November 1967 vol 755 cc50-1W
Mr. Braine

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what answer has been given by his Department to the Rochford Rural District Council's request for an early meeting to discuss urgent problems affecting the district's sewerage and surface water drainage.

Mr. Greenwood

The Department said that they felt that a meeting would not be worth while at the present stage, commented briefly on some of the main points raised and asked the Council to say more particularly what matters they wished to discuss. On receipt of this information the Department will gladly consider the matter further.

I shall shortly be replying to the letter the hon. Member has sent me.
