§ 92. Mr. Milneasked the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs if he will call a conference of the regional economic planning boards to discuss economic and industrial development throughout the country in order to reduce the time spent on attracting new industries to the various development districts.
Mr. Alan WilliamsNo. There are regular meetings of the Economic Planning Board Chairmen at the D.E.A. and the problems of economic and industrial development are among those discussed. In fact, the Government have already introduced a wide range of measures which will speed up the process of attracting new industry to the Development Areas.
