§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to amend the regulations of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, so that a worker shall receive compensation in accordance with his monetary loss sustained as a result of injury received.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe Criminal Injuries Compensation Board is required to assess compensation for injury on the basis of common law damages, subject to certain limitations. Such damages would take account of financial loss resulting from the injury.
