§ Mr. Gwynfor Evansasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give an estimate of the number of men he expects to move from their areas in Wales by 1971 as a result of the contraction of the coal industry.
§ Mr. DarlingI am not in a position to make any such estimates. But we are making every effort to provide jobs in Wales, not only to offset the results of colliery closures, for which special measures have been announced, but to meet the other employment needs of the Principality.
