§ 100. Mr. Henry Clarkasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is now in a position to eliminate the duplication of veterinary inspection of horses arriving at British ports from Northern Ireland which at present unnecessarily prolong the time that these horses are in transit.
§ Mr. PeartThe Secretary of State and I hope shortly to amend the Horses (Landing from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) Order, 1954, so as to enable certain types of horse to go through the ports on this side more quickly.
