Robson Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will investigate the circumstances under which John Lockhart Brownlie, an Australian citizen entering this country, was held in custody for 36 days; and what restrictions are placed on the entry of Australians of good character into the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsAll Commonwealth subjects admitted as visitors are subject to a condition restricting the period of their stay here.
The case of Mr. Brownlie is still before the courts and I cannot comment on it at present.
