HC Deb 21 November 1967 vol 754 c313W
Sir C. Osborne

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he intends to continue the annual aid of £50 million to whatever Government takes over in South Arabia.

Mr. George Brown

I have nothing to add to what I said on this subject in the Foreign Affairs debate on 2nd November. This is clearly one of the matters for negotiation to which I referred in my statement on South Arabia on 14th November. The hon. Member appears to be thinking of three years' anticipated expenditure rather than one.—[Vol. 753, c. 340; Vol. 754, c. 226.]
