HC Deb 20 November 1967 vol 754 cc232-3W
73. Mr. Francis Noel-Baker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will instruct the British delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations to propose that a large sum of money shall be allocated by the General Assembly for publicising the report of the Secretary General's committee of experts about the danger of nuclear weapons and of their use in time of war.

Mr. Mulley

No. The report, which Her Majesty's Government welcome, has been published by the United Nations and has already achieved wide circulation and publicity. We would not be justified in proposing additional expenditure.
