HC Deb 20 November 1967 vol 754 c231W
64. Mr. Roebuck

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will now publish in the Official Report the names of hon. Members and others who have been on speaking tours of France sponsored by his Department during the last six months, with details of the expenditure involved.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

In the last six months Foreign Office sponsored speaking tours of France have been undertaken by the noble Lords, Lord Bessborough and Lord Walston, and my hon. Friends the Members for Monmouth, Manchester, Blackley and Berwick and East Lothian. The total cost so far as it can at present be estimated, was £328. This sum covers fares, hotel and out-of-pocket expenses. No lecture fees were paid.
