§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what were the quantities and value of butter oil and low-grade butter products imported so far this year; and what estimate he has made of the effect of banning these imports on the price of butter.
§ Mr. HoyFrom 1st January to 30th September, 1967, 23,102 tons of near butters were imported at a value of £5,950,000. We do not expect the present restrictions to result in any increase in the price of ordinary butter.
