HC Deb 15 November 1967 vol 754 c103W
64. Mr. Harry Howarth

asked the Minister of Transport what consultations have taken place with the East Midlands Regional Economic Planning Council regarding the British Railways Board proposals involving the closure of St. Pancras Station and the effect of this on the future development of the East Midlands.

Mr. John Morris

As it is too early to say what effect the closure of St. Pancras Station might have on services in the East Midlands, it would be premature to consult the Planning Council.
