asked the Postmaster-General what has been the cost of advertising for postmen and post and telegraph officers in the London Borough of Harrow during the last 12 months.

§ Mr. Joseph Slater
Advertising expenditure for Postmen and Postal and Telegraph Officers for the period 1st October. 1966 to 30th September, 1967 in Harrow and Wembley Head Postmaster's area was:

Postmen £5,377

Postal and Telegraph Officers £1,677

There was no special advertising for the London Borough of Harrow only. Advertisements were placed in local newspapers for vacancies for both grades in Harrow, Wembley, Northwood, Pinner and Ruislip.
