§ Mr. Brian Parkynasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what steps he will now take in view of the decision by Bedfordshire County Council to retain the principle of selection in the proposed plans for the reorganisation of secondary education in Bedfordshire.
§ Mr. Gordon WalkerI have recently asked the Bedfordshire Local Education Authority for further information on certain aspects of the scheme already submitted for the reorganisation of secondary education in their area. When this material is available I shall be able to consider my attitude to what they propose.
