§ Mr. Danceasked the Minister of Transport (1) whether she is satisfied that the existing four lanes of the M.5 will be adequate for the extra traffic which will use the road when the M.1, M.6 and M.5 are linked and when more cars will be travelling into Birmingham from those areas which are chosen for the siting of 15,000 houses to take overspill from Birmingham;
(2) what steps she is taking to ensure that adequate rail and road services will be available to take the heavier commuter traffic which will result from the siting of 15,000 houses beyond the Birmingham boundary to take overspill from that city.
