§ Mr. Merlyn ReesOver the next four years our contribution is expected to amount to some £2½ to £3 million or about 7 per cent. of the total estimated cost. We have offered to act as a Regional Meteorological Centre and a Regional Telecommunications Hub, to continue to develop our research efforts, to improve surface and upper air observations, to provide free training for overseas meteorologists, to make substantial amounts of equipment available for use for developing countries and to make an additional annual contribution of £30,000 to the World Meteorological Organisation.
