§ Mr. SwinglerThe current approved road programme for London extends to 1970 and my right hon. Friend is at present considering schemes submitted by the Greater London Council which may be expected to start in 1971. But the Greater London Council has not yet submitted any formal proposals for the development of highways in London beyond that date.
