§ 68. Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Minister of Social Security when she proposes to introduce legislation to deal with the application of wage related benefits and redundancy payments to the shipbuilding and ship repair industries.
§ Mrs. HartThe scheme for earnings-related supplements to sickness and unemployment benefit introduced last year makes no distinction between one industry and another. I have therefore no proposals to modify its effect in relation to the shipbuilding and ship repair industries. The redundancy payments scheme is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour.
