§ Mr. John MorrisBritain's application to join the Common Market does not necessarily involve a change to driving on the right. But this is certainly one of the factors we shall consider in the studies we are making of the advantages and disadvantages of such a change. As I told the hon. Member for Haltemprice (Mr. Wall) on 19th April, the preliminary estimates show that the cost could be in the region of £350 million if 10 years warning were given.—[Vol. 745, c. 586.]
