§ 63. Mr. A. Royleasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the Household Brigade will be incorporated in the new Guards Division.
§ Mr. BoydenThe Secretary of State for Defence explained to the House on 11th May that, as part of the reorganisation of the Infantry, The Brigade of Guards will in due course be renamed The Guards Division. The Household Cavalry, which is also part of the Household Brigade, is not affected by these changes to the Infantry, and will not form part of the Guards Division.
