§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Health, why, in view of the fact that the consultant in the case of Mrs. Doughty, of Stratford, E.15, was notified around 21st March of matters complained of by the hon. Member for West Ham, North, and that he was freely available from 16th April, it was not until 3rd May that he sent a report of this case to the hon. Member.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI would refer my hon. Friend to my letter of 5th May. The matter had to be considered by the Hospital Management Committee and the Regional Hospital Board. I am satisfied that there was no unreasonable delay.
