§ Mr. SwinglerImprovement of the A20 east of Maidstone is included in the list of trunk road schemes announced on 21st February on which preparations are to proceed with a view to their subsequent inclusion in the programme. As the right hon. Member knows from the Answer given to his Question on 14th December, the Kent County Council have completed a preliminary investigation of possible alignments for the improved route. Further decisions must await the outcome of the aerial survey which is now in hand. —[Vol. 738, c.92–93.]
