§ Mr. RossThe average cost of electricity sent out from Hunterston in 1966–67 was 1.06d. per unit. During the same year the average cost of electricity generated at Kincardine coal-fired station was 0.786d. per unit. Nuclear plant capital costs are depreciated over 20 years and conventional over 25 years.
