§ Mr. Carlisleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable as to how many of the people involved in the serious disturbance which took place outside the works of Robert Arundel, at Chestergate, Stockport, on 22nd February, 1967, did not live in the Stockport area and had no direct connection with the firm.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe Chief Constable of Stockport estimates that a majority of the demonstrators involved in the disturbance on 22nd February came from other industrial establishments, many of them outside Stockport; the largest contingent arrived by coach.
