HC Deb 04 May 1967 vol 746 cc100-1W
42. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he has yet completed his consideration of the best means of enabling students to share in the management of the universities at which they are studying; and if he will now introduce legislation to enable students to participate in decisions concerning misdemeanours by students, and to secure a means of adjudication on those alleged misdemeanours according to the rules of evidence, law and justice in Her Majesty's Courts of Justice.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

The conclusions we have reached on this matter were given in the reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Woolwich, West (Mr. Hamling) on 10th February, and I have nothing to basic need and improvement projects. In add to what was said then.—[Vol. 740, c. 392.]
