§ Mr. Gwynfor Evansasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what further assistance has been offered to 87W the French Government to deal with the freeing of their beaches, especially in Britanny, of the oil which has been carried here since 20th April from the "Torrey Canyon".
§ Mr. William RodgersTwo scientists from the Nature Conservancy were in France from 24th to 28th April to make contact with the French authorities and any technical information we have remains et their disposal. We are continuing to keep in close touch with the French Government on the various issues arising from the "Torrey Canyon" disaster.
