§ 36. Mr. Gwynfor Evansasked the Attorney-General whether he will take steps to ensure that parties in cases in courts of law in Wales who choose to use the Welsh language are not required to pay the interpreter's fees for translating their evidence into English.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Welsh Courts (Oaths and Interpreters) Rules 1943 already provide that no party to any proceedings nor any witness is to be required to pay any part of the interpreter's remuneration.
