Mr. Whitaker

asked the Minister of Social Security (1) when she expects to be able to announce the results of the Government's comprehensive review of social security;

(2) whether, when she announces her review of social security, she will propose that physically and mentally disabled people receive an adequate allowance, irrespective of the cause of their disablement or the amount of their National Insurance contributions.
