§ Mr. James Johnsonasked the Minister of Power if he has studied the report on balance of payments implications of North Sea gas submitted to him by the Gas Council; what is the estimated annual balance of payments savings to be effected by North Sea gas by 1975; and to what extent this amount will be reduced as a result of profit remittances abroad by foreign-based producers on the basis of the following purchase prices payable to producers for North Sea gas by the Gas Council, namely, 1d., 2d., 3d. and 4d.
