The list contains some barracks and camps which have been in a state of care and maintenance since August, 1966, or earlier and others which could be made available for this purpose. All the accommodation would be provided progressively from autumn, 1967. At this stage, it would not be meaningful to give precise estimated dates when particular barracks or camps could be made available, since these will depend on the number and description of the units concerned and the timing of their withdrawal, 150W on which no decision has yet been taken. All the houses to be purchased will be in addition to the figure of about 3,700 given in Cmnd. 3203, Chapter X.
