§ Mr. Fortescueasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why it is proposed that the investment incentives, available to milk processors under White Paper Command Paper No. 2874, shall be denied to them in the event by being disallowed in the costings calculations.
§ Mr. HoyInvestment grants replace investment allowances and these have not hitherto been allowed in costs. There is therefore no obvious reason why investment grants should now be allowed but our Department has already agreed to receive representatives of the Dairy Trade to hear their arguments.
