§ 6. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what action he is taking, in view of the increasing quantities of household waste, to encourage local authorities to install modern waste disposal plants.
§ Mr. MacCollWhether plant is needed, and if so, what kind, must depend largely on local circumstances. Local Authorities know that they can discuss their problems with the Department's advisers and they often do so. In due course recommendations will be made by the working party on refuse disposal which my right hon. Friend is setting up.
