asked the Prime Minister whether he will invite the South African Prime Minister to assist in reaching a settlement with Rhodesia.

The Prime Minister

We are in close touch with the Government of South Africa, as with the Governments of other friendly countries, on a wide range of issues but it would be contrary to practice to give details.

Q10. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Prime Minister what representations he has received from the head of the Ghana Government about the conduct of the Rhodesia question in H.M.S. "Tiger", or otherwise.

The Prime Minister

Communications with Commonwealth Governments are confidential.
