Mr. Newens

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs if he will make a statement on his refusal to meet a deputation of teachers' representatives to discuss the suspension of negotiations on salaries in the Burnham Committee until an announcement on his future policy on incomes is made.
