§ 145. Mr. Ripponasked the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has for the provision of training areas in the constituency of Hexham; and what consultation he has had, or proposes to have, with local or other authorities.
§ Mr. ReynoldsExisting training areas are sufficient for the Army's present needs. If it becomes necessary to consider additional areas, possibly in connection with the return of troops from Germany, the local authorities will be consulted in the normal way.
