Earl of Dalkeithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland to what extent his plans for house building in Scotland will require alteration on account of the extra burden placed on the construction industry in having to provide special accommodation for military personnel brought back from German, Malta and other overseas bases; and whether he will give an estimate of the likely reduction in each of the next three years in the number of houses to be made available to the public.
