§ Mr. Ronald Atkinsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will now revise his preliminary proposals for the establishment of polytechnics within the North-West Region, which has the worst ratio of polytechnics to population of all regions; and what additional polytechnics he has sanctioned to give effect to the Government policy of encouraging educational facilities in the regions that do not share the growth of the South-East.
