§ Mr. James Davidsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what money has so far been collected at the Forth Road Bridge toll; and if he will express this sum as a percentage per annum of the cost of constructing the bridge.
§ Mr. RossDuring the 30 months since the bridge was opened the Joint Board has received just over £1,447,000 in tolls. On average this represents a gross return on capital cost of 2.9 per cent, per annum, without allowing for expenditure on operation and maintenance.
