§ 41. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the eight-year-old daughter of Mr. Gerald Smith was kept waiting in the East Ham Memorial Hospital for three hours before receiving treatment for a broken arm; and whether he will hold an inquiry into this incident.
§ Mr. SnowThis little girl was placed under nursing supervision immediately on arrival at the hospital and was seen by a doctor soon after. I am advised that treatment then proceeded as quickly as the circumstances of her case allowed.
