§ Mr. HattersleyThe following table gives standard or minimum rates of wages in this country for certain occupations. The information is drawn from a number of the principal agreements for the textiles industry. Centrally determined minimum rates are not specified for loom overlookers in the textiles manufacturing section and basic rates vary between mills and areas. Corresponding rates of wages for Portugal are not available from the usual international sources.
