HC Deb 02 March 1967 vol 742 c146W
71. Mr. Luard

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what evidence is available to Her Majesty's Government on the flow of oil to Rhodesia from South Africa and Mozambique since the imposition of United Nations sanctions.

Mr. George Thomson

I have nothing to add to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs' reply to the hon. Member for Cardigan (Mr. Elystan Morgan) on 27th January.—[Vol. 739, c.389.]

Mr. Whitaker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the s.s. "Clan Macinnes" unloaded any prohibited material for Rhodesia between 16th and 19th February at Beira; and what action he is taking.

Mr. George Thomson

No prohibited cargo destined for Rhodesia was unloaded at Beira from this ship. Her Majesty's Government forbade the unloading of a small number of crates destined for Rhodesia and believed to contain prohibited goods.
