§ Mr. BowdenWith regard to assistance to Zambia I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Meridan (Mr. Rowland) on 7th February.
No direct assistance arising out of the imposition of sanctions against Rhodesia has been given to any other Commonwealth country, but at the request of the Zambian Government some of the assistance to Zambia has been spent on the development of supply routes through Tanzania and Malawi.—[Vol. 740, c. 271.]
