Mr. Alasdair Mackenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, on the British application to join the Common Market being accepted, he will arrange for representatives of the Scottish Office to take part in the subsequent negotiations, in order to represent the various aspects of the Scottish economy, including hill and upland farming.
§ 54. Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what preparations he has made, or is having made, to ensure that Scottish interests are properly represented in any negotiations to enter the European Economic Community.
