§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Minister of Technology if he will make a statement on his negotiations with Vickers on the possibility of a marine nuclear reactor being installed in a container ship.
§ Mr. BennI have recently received from Vickers Engineering their Report on a study of the application of nuclear power to container ships.
The report makes proposals for more extensive studies which would be necessary before any decision could be taken to embark on building a nuclear powered ship. I am considering these proposals.
