§ 59. Mr. Dalyellasked the Minister of Technology when he expects to reply to representations from the Institution of 59W Professional Civil Servants on the future of Atomic Weapons Research Establishment, Aldermaston.
§ Mr. BennI have received no representations from the Institution of Professional Civil Servants as such about the future of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment. The Institution was, however, represented on a deputation on this matter from the Central Staff Side of the U.K. Atomic Energy Authority Whitley Council which met my predecessor in April, 1966. There was a useful exchange of views on that occasion. They have just asked for a further meeting.
