§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe numbers of receptions into prison service establishments in England and Wales of women convicted under the Street Offences Act 1959 are recorded together with those of women convicted of prostitution offences under other enactments. In 1965 there were 352 such receptions, including girls between the ages of 17 and 21. The provisional figure for 1966 is 430.
