§ Mr. Merlyn ReesAs a result of a study completed earlier this year it has been found possible to transfer some night movements away from Syerston. The new arrangement came into full effect on 14th June. We expect it to lead to a small reduction in the duration, and a significant reduction in the intensity, of night flying at Syerston. A good deal of night flying will, however, continue to be necessary at the Flying Training School and I very much regret any disturbance it may cause.
