§ Mr. SnowFor many years hospital authorities have been urged to make greater use of voluntary workers in mental hospitals and in 1962 detailed advice was issued on this subject. Voluntary organisations have also been encouraged to take an interest in this field. Considerable progress has been made in recent years.
